  1. 01.When are "evening and weekend" calls?

Evening calls are between 6pm and 8am.  Weekend calls are from 6pm on a Friday until 8am on Monday morning.

  1. 02.When do I receive my bills?

We send out your bill on a monthly basis.  We also charge line rental on a monthly basis.

  1. 03.How do I pay my bills?

All Mercury customers must pay by Direct Debit.  This is set up on this website when you sign-up online.

  1. 04.Do I still pay BT for line rental?

No, you pay Mercury for your line rental and calls.

  1. 05.What's included in the Mercury Price Promise?

For the purposes of our £1000 Price Promise, we measure our packages against BT's standard line rental and standard PSTN calls.

Premium rate and non-geographic numbers are excluded from the Price Promise.

  1. 06.What happens to my broadband connection?

Nothing at all, it will stay the same as it is at the moment.  There will be no loss of service.

  1. 07.Will I keep my existing phone number?

Yes, your phone number will remain the same.

  1. 08.Can I add select services, e.g. 1571?

Yes you can add any select service you wish.  Either give us a call or send us a message.

  1. 09.Will I keep my existing select services?

Yes, we transfer your line services on a like-for-like basis.

  1. 10.Will I notice any change when I transfer to Mercury?

No, you will not notice any change when you switch your line over to Mercury.

  1. 11.What are your International Calling Rates?

  1. 12.What happens if there is a fault on my line?

It's worth checking our Troubleshooting page first which may help to resolve your problem.  If you're certain there is a line fault, simply contact us to let us know what the fault is.  The problem will either be fixed internally, or we will arrange for a BT engineer to visit you if necessary.

  1. 13.How much are Indirect Access / Dial Through numbers such as 0844 calls?
